1. About us
GaliMotors is a vehicle dealer and brokerage operating in Malawi and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What we do
We list vehicles for sale, connect buyers with sellers, arrange viewings, and provide import sourcing services.
3. Using this website
By using this website you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorised access.
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity under your account.
4. Listings and information
We take care to describe vehicles accurately. Specifications, mileage and condition are provided in good faith based on information available to us.
Listing prices are subject to change and availability. A listing is not a binding offer to sell.
5. Viewings and bookings
Viewing appointments require a booking fee.
A viewing fee is not refundable once paid except when the car is bought in which the buyer gets 50% refund of the viewing fee.
6. Payment
Accepted payment methods are set out in your quote.
7. Passing of ownership
Ownership is transferred upon full payment of the payable amount. If the car is being sold by an independent seller, all risks following the sale shall be borne by the seller, with Galimotors coordinating all necessary procedures.
8. Vehicle condition
All vehicles are sold on an “as-seen” and “as-is” basis, subject to the terms stated in the vehicle listing and any representations expressly made by the seller. Buyers are responsible for inspecting the vehicle, either personally or through a qualified mechanic or inspection service, before completing the purchase.
By completing the purchase, the buyer acknowledges that they have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect and assess the vehicle’s condition, including its mechanical, electrical, body and interior condition, and accepts the vehicle in its condition at the time of sale.
After completion of the sale, the buyer shall have no claim for defects, faults, wear and tear, or other conditions that were reasonably identifiable through inspection or that were disclosed before the purchase.
However, this does not limit the buyer’s rights in cases where the seller or Galimotors has deliberately concealed a material defect, provided materially false or misleading information, or where the vehicle materially differs from the description or representations made to the buyer.
For vehicles sold by independent sellers, the seller remains responsible for the condition and accuracy of the information provided about the vehicle. Galimotors acts as an intermediary and will coordinate the necessary sale and transfer procedures but does not assume responsibility for undisclosed mechanical or other defects that were not caused by Galimotors or its representatives.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Galimotors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, defect, repair cost or other claim arising from the vehicle’s condition, performance, ownership or use, except where caused by Galimotors’ negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct or breach of an express obligation.
For vehicles sold by independent sellers, the seller remains responsible for the vehicle and the accuracy of information provided. Galimotors acts only as an intermediary and facilitator of the transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or buyer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Malawian law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malawi.
